Firstly, both of you could get married either in Malaysia (prefered choice for employment pass for foreign husband) or in Poland. Regardless of his qualification or his status as your husband/fiance, he would be allowed entry to Malaysia on a social visit pass & visa (likely up to 3 months renewable) while pending his PR application. The biggest hurdle would be obtaining the PR status which if you are lucky could be done in a couple of months or it could take you years. There were instances where applicants has waited more than 12 years and have yet to receive their PR status and these applicants are professionals as well. Some others got it within a couple of months and they are just ordinary blue collar. Don’t ask me how the Malaysian Govt process each applicants. It baffles me as well.
Since your fiance is still studying, I doubt “Malaysia - my second home programme” would be applicable because it is meant for couples who are not Malaysian but would like to reside in Malaysia.
A working pass would require your fiance to be able to secure a job in Malaysia first.
Alternatively, your fiance could purchase a property in Malaysia (is more expensive than if you were to purchase because he is a foreigner) and that would allow him to have a longer social visit pass, or he could set up his own business in Malaysia. Either methods won’t guarantee a PR but would enable him to stay longer in Malaysia (a longer duration social visit pass). The PR application takes time as I have stated earlier. Your hassle would be the constant need to meet the immigration officers pretty frequently to extend his social visit pass. Hope this helps. For more info http://www.imi.gov.my

Apply for a visa for your boyfriend that he will marry you in Malaysia so that he could stay permanently in Malaysia.
